About this event

Share a Piece of Yourself! For Lindsay Ainsworth, the impact of a kidney transplant is deeply personal and truly life-changing. After being diagnosed with kidney failure at just 21 years old, Lindsay received the incredible gift of a kidney from her cousin, Michelle, at age 28. That gift gave her 16 wonderful years, but as the transplanted kidney begins to fail, Lindsay is now preparing for her second kidney transplant and hoping to make this next one last even longer! A longtime Northeast Arkansas resident and recent Arkansas State University graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design, Lindsay has always had a passion for art, creativity, and community. She currently shares that creativity with others through her work as an Activities Therapy Tech at St. Bernards Behavioral Health. Now, Lindsay is bringing together two things that mean so much to her: art and community. On November 21, 2026, artists, musicians\\ , makers, art lovers, and community members are invited to come together for Share a Piece of Yourself, a community art fair benefiting Lindsay's transplant journey. This special event is an opportunity to celebrate local creativity while making a meaningful difference in the life of someone in our community. Funds raised will help with expenses associated with Lindsay's upcoming transplant, including travel to Vanderbilt, transplant-related costs, living expenses while she is unable to work during recovery, and potential assistance for a living donor. All funds raised will be safely managed through Help Hope Live, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that assists transplant and catastrophic injury patients with community-based fundraising. Donations made through the Southeast Transplant Fund are administered according to medical and financial need and remain tax-deductible under IRS guidelines. Whether you are an artist, musician, maker, supporter, or simply someone who loves bringing the comm unity together for a meaningful cause, we invite you to be part of this special event. Share a Piece of Yourself-because it truly makes an impact.
