- ➤ Arkansas Department of Finance introduced new sales tax exemption cards to help farmers get tax breaks on supplies and equipment. The cards, costing $20 initially (renew $10) and valid for eight years, will cover purchases including feed, machinery and tractors, and were created under Act 621 sponsored by local lawmakers.
