- ➤ Jonesboro is modifying its cleanup program for 2026 & will alternate monthly neighborhood cleanups with Saturday drop-off hours at the bulky junk site on Lacy Drive starting in February, offering six cleanups and five drop-off sessions while maintaining weekday service. K8 News

- ➤ The Arkansas Department of Health recognized several Northeast Arkansas hospitals & ambulance services for defect-free stroke care on Friday based on key performance measures, awarding levels of Diamond, Ruby, and Pearl. K8 News
- ➤ According to a USDA study, Arkansas led the nation in food insecurity as one in five households struggled with food access from 2022 to 2024. Sylvia Blain of Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance said low wages and rising living costs worsened the issue, urging support for affected families. K8 News
