- ➤ Dr. Shane Speights warned that bitter cold temperatures create health risks for residents venturing out during snow removal tasks — heavy exertion may lead to heart stress, falls, and frostbite. He advised young children and seniors to dress warmly and limit outdoor time today. K8 News
