- ➤ The Jonesboro Street Department has been working long shifts clearing main and secondary streets from last Friday night as crews battle refreezing temperatures and snowfall. Superintendent Steve Tippitt warned that a half-inch of snow predicted Thursday may slow work further — residents are asked to be patient as crews clear neighborhoods. K8 News
- ➤ Jonesboro police and fire departments are now accepting applications for citizen academies that let residents see behind-the-scenes public safety work.
