JRN has partnered with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society to debut Pets of the Week, a feature spotlighting adoptable pets.

Launched on Feb. 3, the series highlights animals like Blizzard (1-year, 3-month-old mix) and Stuffing (22-week-old tabby) and invites local residents to adopt or volunteer.

Local officials said on Tuesday that a Japanese-based firm will build a 175,000-square-foot food manufacturing facility in Jonesboro that is expected to create nearly 200 jobs.
