- ➤ The annual Paragould polar plunge was held Saturday at Crowley’s Ridge State Park, where participants plunged in Lake Ponder to raise funds for Arkansas Special Olympics. Teams in costumes competed and raised over $10,000, with the top team collecting more than $6,000. K8 News

- ➤ KASU will feature a Black History Month photo exhibit titled We Shall Overcome in the Humanities and Social Sciences building lobby at A-State on Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The exhibit displays 25 historic photos and includes a performance by the United Voices Gospel Choir. - ➤ Jonesboro-based Arkansas State University held its Fall 2025 Commencement at First National Bank Arena, awarding diplomas to students from many states and 26 other countries. Graduates were recognized with honors (Summa Cum Laude for 4.0 GPAs, Magna Cum Laude for 3.8-3.99 GPAs, and Cum Laude for 3.6-3.79 GPAs). Delta Digital News Service
- ➤ The Greene County Tech FFA held its annual equipment auction at the Greene County Fairgrounds, where local farmers sold unused equipment to support the chapter's programs. The event also helped students earn community service hours and strengthen local community ties. K8 News
