  • USDA offers technical & financial disaster assistance for local farmers impacted by recent winter storms. Producers have until March 1 to report crop, livestock, or infrastructure damages through several programs to help with recovery.  Jonesboro Right Now

  • The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is partnering with the Red Cross to hold a blood drive on Tuesday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in its Round Room + donors who schedule appointments and donate will get a $15 e-gift card.  Northeast Arkansas News
  • NEA Baptist is hosting Heart Talk in Jonesboro on Thursday, Feb. 26 at Southwest Church of Christ. The event offers a free lunch (starting at noon) and a discussion with medical experts, with doors opening at 11 a.m.  Northeast Arkansas News

  • Jonesboro native Earl Bell was named to the USTFCCCA Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame Class of 2026, making him the first Arkansas State athlete to receive this honor. The ceremony will be held Sunday, June 7 in Eugene.  K8 News
