  • Farm Credit Mid-America will send $14.2 million to Arkansas farmers in March through its patronage program, returning part of its $280 million net earnings to help manage costs & investments; for a decade, the cooperative has distributed over $1.75 billion to support local farms.  K8 News

  • Arkansas State University received a $125,000 gift from Farm Credit Mid-America to help agriculture students gain hands-on learning through travel, research, and meetings with experts. The investment will let students connect classroom ideas with real-world work.  NEA Report

  • Over 100 residents gathered at the Earl Bell Community Center on Feb. 12 to share ideas for Plan Jonesboro, the city’s 30-year comprehensive planning effort. The process will continue with a multi-day workshop from March 30 to April 3 to gather more community input.  Jonesboro Right Now

  • The 2026 State Basketball Tournament begins today with games scheduled across Arkansas in various classes. Reigning champion Osceola is hosting the 3A round while the 5A first round features two all NEA matchups.  K8 News
