- ➤ Parkview beat Marion 63-57 to claim the 5A state championship yesterday using a strong finish in the contest. K8 News
- ➤ Arkansas State won an 8-5 game against Southern Miss Friday night at Tomlinson Stadium-Slayton Family Field, scoring four runs in the seventh inning before a record crowd of 1,748. The win marks the first time the team has defeated two top-10 teams in one season. Jonesboro Right Now
