State Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on March 14th at 7 p.m. on U.S. Highway 63 west of Bono in Craighead County—Allan Brown, 45, was pronounced dead at St. Bernards Medical Center while another man is receiving treatment in Little Rock and a passenger in one vehicle was not injured.

On March 18, Arkansas State defeated Saint Louis 103-78 in a NIT first round game — the Red Wolves built an early 17-2 run as Izaiyah Nelson led with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

They will face the winner of the contest between Furman and North Texas in Denton in the second round.

Registration is now open for the A-State Spring Break Youth Soccer Camp, set for March 26 to 28 for kids ages 6 to 13 at the A-State Soccer Complex.

The camp will offer skills training and game situations from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.—its cost is $125.
