Yesterday, the Arkansas250 Commission unveiled a historical marker honoring U.S. Sen. Hattie Caraway at A-State’s V.C.

Kays House; the marker is one of 11 placed statewide to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Arkansas State University has announced a new scholarship in memory of Heather Goodwin and in honor of Brandon and Jennifer Mitchell.

The scholarship will reward full-time students with strong academics and leadership, alternating each year between eligible Pi Kappa Alpha and Alpha Omicron Pi recipients.
