  • GasBuddy’s survey shows that gasoline prices statewide rose 13.7-cent to $3.32 per gallon last week, costing drivers 84-cent more than a month ago. Patrick De Haan said seasonal factors and global oil-supply issues may push prices higher soon.  K8 News

  • Jonesboro high schoolers returned from a weekend trip to Capitol Hill where they attended a hybrid human rights conference & Youth Lobby Day. They met with legislative assistants in Washington and now plan local events to share their message.  Jonesboro Right Now

  • Craighead County is under a burn ban starting today as rising dry conditions have led to 32 brush fires in the last 10 days. Local fire chiefs in collaboration with forestry officials set the order — to protect lives and property until weather improves.  Mix 106.3
  • Jonesboro's GOJO transit is seeing more riders after launching its new app Let’s GOJO, which shows live route maps+bus fullness and trip planning details; Transit Director Lee Wells said rising gas prices and easier access are drawing more riders.  K8 News
  • Jonesboro will host Plan Jonesboro Design Week from March 30 to April 2 at the Y Jonesboro Youth Community Center with workshops led by DPZ CoDesign + Crafton Tull to gather public input for a 30-year growth plan through interactive sessions and pop-up events.  Northeast Arkansas News
