  • Jonesboro police arrested high-risk sex offender Armando Hamilton, 46, on March 25 at his home on Sandbrook Drive — he is accused of living within 2,000 feet of Fox Meadow Elementary and faces charges for failing to update his registration with a May 22 court date and a $75,000 bond with GPS monitoring if released.  Jonesboro Right Now

  • Education nonprofit The Reform Alliance will host town hall meetings with the Arkansas Department of Education Office of School Choice and Parent Empowerment in Jonesboro at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 1st and in Walnut Ridge at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 1st—guests can learn about public, private and nontraditional school options and ask questions as food is provided for those who RSVP.  NEA Report
  • Education nonprofit The Reform Alliance—partnering with the Arkansas Department of Education Office of School Choice and Parent Empowerment—will host town hall meetings in Jonesboro and Walnut Ridge next week to discuss K-12 education options.
