- ➤ Arkansas State University announced a new John A. Bobango — Pi Kappa Alpha Endowed Scholarship to help high-achieving business and law students earn awards, giving first preference to Pi Kappa Alpha members, then students from Memphis and Jonesboro. - ➤ Arkansas Supreme Court brought its Appeals on Wheels program to A-State campus Thursday so high school students from Greene County Tech (Valley View, Academies at Jonesboro, Nettleton, and Brookland) witnessed live oral arguments that showed the justice system in action. Northeast Arkansas News
- ➤ Today, students at Valley View Elementary participated in a cafeteria taste test of meals featuring Arkansas grown rice, chicken & soybeans to help decide future school menus. - ➤ St. Bernards unveiled a new heart and vascular clinic and diagnostic center at Paragould Medical Park on Thursday; the facility (including tests like echocardiograms, stress tests and vascular studies) will complete later in the spring and help patients avoid driving to Jonesboro.
