  • The Jonesboro Fire Department responded to a fire at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church late Saturday night, reporting significant sanctuary damage and a collapsed roof (10:15 p.m.) with no injuries while the cause remains under investigation.  K8 News

  • Arkansas State University's new College of Veterinary Medicine will welcome its first 120 students this fall to begin building a local pipeline of veterinarians for rural communities.
