The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host an Adult Sketchbook Club Night on April 30 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Civic League Room—giving local adults a free space to draw and share art with friends—without needing to sign up.

Three Jonesboro commissions will host a free Sip and Share event on April 22 from 5:15 to 7 p.m. at Embassy Suites (223 Red Wolf Blvd) to collect public input on current and future art projects that enhance the city's spaces.

Keep Jonesboro Beautiful chair Beverly Parker said the pilot event will review existing art and discuss new local installations involving school collaborations.

A Jonesboro man (38-year-old Matthew Scott) was arrested on April 14 for allegedly uploading child sexual abuse material to Dropbox from his home and was released on bond (for $50,000 at 3:05 p.m. on April 16) after police said a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led them to his account.
