The Family Crisis Center hosted its second annual Sexual Assault Awareness Seminar on April 18th at the First United Methodist Church to raise awareness about sexual assault in Northeast Arkansas—over 100 participants and 30 ASU students heard from legal and mental health experts who discussed available support services.

A Jonesboro man, Matthew Layton, was arrested after police charged him with distributing child sexual abuse material nearly 100 times across several platforms—bail was set at $100,000 or surety with conditions including no internet use or juvenile contact after search warrants were executed on April 17.

Two solo exhibitions titled 'Chree Explorations' by Mandy Mooneyham and 'Option C' by Andrew Fernandez will open at Bradbury Art Museum at noon on May 1—joining the ongoing show 'Marks in Motion' that opened on March 13.

The exhibitions will conclude with a catered reception on June 11 from 5 to 7 p.m.
