- ➤ Gov. Sarah Sanders announced Tuesday that 22 communities (including Jonesboro) will share $25 million through the Arkansas Site Development Program. Eligible projects, from infrastructure upgrades to site improvements, will receive funding beginning fiscal year 2027. Delta Digital News Service
- ➤ The Craighead County Road Department postponed work on County Road 928 due to weather and will now close sections on Monday, May 4 (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and Tuesday, May 5 (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Drivers should follow detour signs and plan for extra travel time. The Fox 104.9

- ➤ Jonesboro parent Zach Owens shared his journey raising his autistic son — a path that led him to head Ag for Autism in supporting local families during Autism Awareness Month.
