- ➤ Jonesboro police arrested a man aged 22 who is accused of sexually extorting and stalking a woman when he threatened to kill her and sent explicit videos of her (a judge set his bond at $100,000 and ordered him to have no contact with the victim). K8 News
- ➤ A New York man who owned dozens of nursing homes in Jonesboro and Batesville pleaded guilty to Medicaid fraud and tax evasion this week — he was sentenced to 12 months in corrections with an additional 48 months suspended, a fine of 2000 dollars and nearly 1.8 million dollars in restitution.
