The Jonesboro Human Development Center wrapped up a two-day Mother’s Day plant sale Saturday at its Greenworks facility on Stadium Boulevard, where residents earned a minimum wage through the sale of plants and art (all proceeds supported their vocational program).

Hundreds of Jonesboro High School seniors received their diplomas on Saturday, marking their graduation with over $9 million in academic scholarships and honors.

Hunters can apply for an elk permit draw via the AGFC licensing site from 8 a.m. May 1 to 11:59 p.m. June 1.
Fifteen online and three on-site permits will be drawn at the Buffalo River Elk Festival on June 26-27 for Arkansas residents with a valid license.
