- ➤ KLEK 102.5 FM has announced the 9th Annual Juneteenth in Jonesboro celebration from June 12 to June 19. - ➤ Brookland teacher Tina Davidson received support from students who built a memorial for her garden - designed with butterflies and owls - to honor her late granddaughter and bring light during a difficult time. The group now seeks project ideas to further help community members in need. K8 News

- ➤ Arkansas State University in Jonesboro partners with Kalmer Solutions to launch the Red Wolf Security Operations Center this fall, where six students each semester will gain hands-on experience monitoring cybersecurity threats and protecting systems. K8 News
- ➤ Eleven A-State students, from professor Leslie Parker’s spring graphic design class, traveled to Dallas for the National Student Advertising Competition where they pitched an NFL campaign and earned the Jeanie Ruedy Spirit Award — marking a milestone that may inspire future participants.
