- ➤ The Craighead County Veterans Monument Foundation held a Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 26th at the new courthouse annex after forecasts of rain led to a last-minute change from the Doughboy statue location. President Rich Norris honored veterans from conflicts like Vietnam and Iraq—presenting memorial bricks to local heroes—while the ceremony featured prayers, national anthems, and the playing of Taps.
