ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ As of today, Arkansas fire officials report 28 fire deaths in 2026, already exceeding the 27 recorded on this date in 2025, largely because nearly all homes lacked working smoke alarms (only two fires had functioning detectors). K8 News

- ➤ County Road 862 is closed for four weeks while county crews replace a bridge between County Road 849 + Highway 139. Drivers are advised to slow down and use the detour. Northeast Arkansas News
