Jonesboro Trim and Door was acquired by US Best Building Solutions led by local business leader Kevin Pierce on June 3, and the company will continue operating under its trusted name while expanding its services.

Pierce said the acquisition will help invest in quality products and dedicated staff to maintain the business' 25-year legacy — a move aimed at strengthening its role in the region.

Jonesboro police arrested Frank Anthony Martus—a 39-year-old man—on May 30 after he broke into a local fire station, took keys from a fire truck and a city gas card which he later returned before officers arrived; he faces multiple felony charges and will appear in circuit court on July 31.
