- ➤ Jonesboro’s West End Neighborhood Association will host the 4th Annual West End Garden Tour on Sunday, June 22 at 2:45 p.m. at Birdsong Community Garden — located at 805 West Washington Avenue — where visitors will explore five private gardens and pay $10 admission to support local neighborhood projects. - ➤ Arvest announced that its 15th annual Million Meals campaign raised $18,396 for the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas on June 18th. The check presentation to staff and volunteers—held to support local food partners—highlighted the bank’s effort to meet rising meal demands during the summer. The Fox 104.9

- ➤ Cross County Elementary Technology Academy was recognized as one of the top 10 schools in the world for overcoming adversity during a celebration on Wednesday — the award highlights the school’s strong programs and community care in its rural, high-poverty area. Northeast Arkansas News

- ➤ Last night, the City Council approved a revenue bond to raise $17.5 million for public safety and road projects — the plan uses funds from franchise fees and will fund a new E-911 center and sidepath improvements while public input will guide future steps. NEA Report
- ➤ The Jonesboro City Council unanimously approved an ordinance that reroutes commercial trucks away from downtown by banning them from Main, Church, and Union Streets between Highland Drive and Johnson Avenue — trucks will instead use Bridge Street. Signage has been installed downtown — guiding drivers along the new route. Northeast Arkansas News
