- ➤ Jonesboro police arrested 25-year-old Makaja Tyronika Dority—accused of aggravated assault—after she attempted to hit a pedestrian with her car near a business on Gee Street on June 25; she is held on a $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 31. K8 News
- ➤ A Bay woman was held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond after she stabbed her mother and got into a standoff at an apartment on the 400 block of Patterson Street, during which she waved a knife — challenging officers to shoot her, and she was later arrested by SWAT with a court appearance set for July 31. - ➤ Arkansas State Police announced that the upgraded missing persons website now shows updates immediately instead of once a week — local law enforcement can add new case details and remove outdated entries as soon as they are reported.
