He will continue his journey south—heading next toward Mississippi and Alabama while sharing wooden crosses with messages along the way. K8 News

- ➤ The U.S. Fire Administration urges travelers booking hotels to choose those with essential fire safety features like hard-wired smoke alarms and automatic fire sprinklers in every guest room. Atin Suri of Comfort Inn in Jonesboro advises guests to review evacuation plans—taking a photo of exit maps for emergency reference. K8 News

- ➤ Rural hospitals in Arkansas must prepare for major changes that will begin in the coming years and could save money for the federal government — though these changes may lead to fewer people having health care coverage. Delta Digital News Service
- ➤ Baptist Health hospitals in Little Rock and North Little Rock signed on last month to join the Maternal Life360 Medicaid program that offers home visits for women with high-risk pregnancies in Pulaski, Saline and Faulkner counties. The program, part of Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders' plan to improve maternal care, gives hospitals startup funding and monthly payments for every enrolled woman+other sites in the initiative include those in Jonesboro and Batesville.
