- ➤ Dillard’s in Jonesboro is partnering with the Arkansas Department of Human Services — launching its second annual Style a Student program that collects clothes for Craighead County foster children as the new school year nears. Donations can be made from July 20 to Aug. 3 and the store will host a Kids Day Fashion Show at 2 p.m. on July 26, aiming to sponsor 150 students while donating 10% of proceeds to Fisher Street Community in Action. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin said Tuesday that Delta 8 and Delta 9—hemp-derived THC products—are now illegal following a federal appeals court mandate. He warned that business owners who sell these products and consumers who buy them could face criminal prosecution as enforcement of the state's law begins. NEA Report
