- ➤ The Jonesboro City Council approved a resolution Tuesday that lets JET expand service on the A-State campus by adding a new fifth route and hiring six full-time drivers, while A-State and New York Institute of Technology riders show a valid school ID to ride free. The service will run Monday through Friday with limited Saturday rides starting Aug.16—A-State will pay about $518,282 annually over a three-year contract—ensuring improved campus connectivity.
