  • State prosecutor Sonia Hagood paused charges against Jonesboro man Lacey Justin Barber, Jr.—accused of giving fentanyl that led to inmate Danial Robinson’s death on July 24—as her office coordinated with federal partners while Barber serves an 11-year sentence and awaits a federal trial set for July.  NEA Report

  • Five graduates from Arkansas State will be honored as Emerging Young Alumni for making big contributions to the school and community at a luncheon starting at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 24 at the Cooper Alumni Center — 2600 Alumni Blvd.  NEA Report
