- ➤ The Family Crisis Center received a donation of non-perishable food from the Rotary Club of Jonesboro at its recent luncheon meeting. The donation will help the center serve three meals a day to survivors and residential clients amid rising needs in the community. K8 News
- ➤ The NHS EAST Program will host its Unified by Service Veterans Day Program and Luncheon on November 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Bernards Auditorium at 505 E. Washington Ave—guest speakers, a video tribute to the late Richard Carvell, and provided food and drinks will honor U.S. service members, with reservations required by Oct. 31. Jonesboro Right Now
- ➤ Executive Director Casey Kidd of the Family Crisis Center spoke Tuesday at the Rotary Club about support services available to domestic violence survivors—highlighting a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelter, mental health therapy, and legal advocacy that have helped local families for 39 years. - ➤ The Salvation Army of Jonesboro is now accepting online applications for its 2025 Angel Tree Christmas program. There are 100 slots available – applicants must submit required documents including a birth certificate, photo ID, and proof of income. K8 News
- ➤ Jonesboro will host the 78th Annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. as it returns to Main Street with a Sweet Treats on Main Street theme (A Candy Christmas) featuring floats, walkers, vehicles and a Performance Zone by the Courthouse, while entries compete for awards and must register by Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. Jonesboro Right Now

- ➤ St. Bernards Healthcare held a grand opening on Tuesday for its new rehab clinic in Paragould where a ribbon-cutting with the local Chamber of Commerce invited residents to tour the remodeled facility. The clinic at 1725 West Kingshighway, Suit 17A offered physical therapy and sports medicine and operated Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. + Friday from 7 a.m. to noon. NEA Report

- ➤ CRA beat Flippin in the semifinals of the 3A East Volleyball Regional on October 21—pushing the team into the championship round. The win marked an important step in the regional tournament. K8 News
- ➤ Tight end Kade Bush reopened his recruitment Tuesday after pledging to the Razorbacks on March 27, making him the 10th commitment to reverse his decision following former coach Sam Pittman’s firing — Bush, a 3-star player from Chanhassen High School, considered offers from Kansas State, Washington State and Wyoming as the Razorbacks secured 14 pledges for the 2026 class.
