- ➤ Between Oct. 18 and Oct. 19, Hardy police officer Dan Gallagher helped a stranded Mississippi family when a tire came off on Highway 63—he drove the family to a hotel without charging them and kept them safe. The family returned home the next day and said Gallagher's kindness has deepened their bond with Hardy. K8 News

- ➤ A-State football rushed for 266 yards and scored four touchdowns on a rainy night in Jonesboro to tally a 34-24 win over Georgia Southern—led by Kenyon Clay and Devin Spencer who each rushed for over 100 yards.
