- ➤ The 39th Annual Lit’l Bita Christmas arts and crafts show returns to Jonesboro next weekend as one of the region’s largest holiday shopping traditions, scheduled for Nov. 7—9 on the Arkansas State University campus. More than 200 vendors will offer handmade goods, food, and gifts while proceeds aid A-State student-athlete scholarships and the event is expected to draw over 10,000 visitors. NEA Report
- ➤ Jonesboro florist Zach Jones was picked as one of 300 people nationwide to help decorate the White House for Christmas. He will work in Washington, DC, during Thanksgiving week on warehouse prep and tree installations while his shop stays open until he returns on Monday. Delta Digital News Service

- ➤ Little Caesars opened a new restaurant Tuesday at 3800 E. Johnson Ave in Jonesboro. It operates Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until midnight + a free grand opening celebration with live entertainment, giveaways and family-friendly activities is planned for later in November. - ➤ Chris Tomlin and Matthew West will headline Winter Jam 2026 at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock on Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. A pre-Jam party begins at 4 p.m. — guests are encouraged to donate $15 at the door to support the event's 30-year tradition of faith-based entertainment. K8 News
- ➤ The inaugural Arkansas Liberal Arts and Humanities Day (ALAH Day) will debut at the State Capitol on Thursday, Nov. 13 as Arkansas State University representatives lead students from across the state to present creative work and research. The event will feature 19 student presentations and two performances from Southern Arkansas University and Arkansas State (through the Empower the Pack program) with guests from Humanities AR and the Arkansas Arts Council joining the discussion. - ➤ Late Kay Luter left a $500K gift to support the A-State College of Veterinary Medicine through scholarships, faculty development, and program needs (including a planned estate gift). The college darkened its clock tower Nov. 2 to honor her legacy. Delta Digital News Service
