- ➤ The Nutcracker Ballet, presented by the Foundation of Arts, will perform from Nov. 21–25 at The Forum Theater at 115 E. Monroe Ave with shows at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21, 22, 24, and 25 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23. Ticket prices range from $22 to $26 and officials urge families to purchase tickets early as seating is limited. - ➤ ARDOT announced that the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge will close in both directions just after midnight on Saturday for repair work—southbound lanes will reopen Sunday night while northbound lanes remain closed until Tuesday. - ➤ The Arkansas Department of Human Services announced Thursday that full SNAP benefits for November will be available as early as midnight tonight after new USDA guidance allowed full allotments. - ➤ A new children’s psychiatric hospital will open on January 13th in Jonesboro at 3024 Red Wolf Blvd — it will offer 70 beds to treat short-term mental health crises like depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and self-harm.
