- ➤ Arkansas State University pre-vet club and community members are collecting pet food and supplies for the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society to help struggling pet owners, with donations accepted until Dec. 4. - ➤ Local fire crews and store managers advise Jonesboro residents to follow kitchen safety tips as Thanksgiving nears. - ➤ Jonesboro City Hall now hosts a Community Giving Tree that offers residents warm clothing, blankets, and hygiene items free of charge+ the Mayor’s Youth Advancement Council set up the tree and plans to bring a traveling version to upcoming community events.
