  • County Treasurer Terry McNatt said the county’s 1 percent sales and use tax brought in $30,367,444 this year, according to figures released this week.  Jonesboro Sun
  • Attorney General Tim Griffin announced Tuesday a $150 million settlement with Mercedes-Benz USA and Mercedes-Benz Group AG for using illegal emissions defeat devices; Arkansas will receive $250,000 and the company must pay $120 million immediately while the remainder depends on completing a consumer relief program.  Delta Digital News Service
