After postponing its earlier date due to weather, the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host a food distribution event today at First National Bank Arena on Olympic Drive in Lot G (near the Yellow Entrance) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and is seeking volunteers to help manage traffic.

Breaking Bonds Ministries, a faith-based treatment center for men, has been clearing snow from driveways and sidewalks across Jonesboro since Sunday morning to help residents reach medical appointments and essential services.

The organization said it will continue clearing driveways until the snow melts.
