If you haven't voted yet, today's your day. Polls in Craighead County are open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and K8 News reports you could be turned away without a photo ID. A driver's license, state ID or U.S. passport works.

“As long as they're in line at 7:30, they're allowed to vote no matter how long it takes. But they have to be in line at 7:30.”

Craighead County Clerk Mary Dawn Marshall

Turnout is up. K8 News counts 16,864 ballots cast in early voting, compared with just over 4,000 in the primaries. Before you go, confirm your registration on the Arkansas portal.

Early voting drew 16,864 ballots in a county with 59,515 registered voters

Getting the most votes doesn't automatically make a candidate the winner in every race, so some Arkansas races head to runoffs.
